// QUESTIONS

Before you get in touch.

Is the FMA a riding club or a road-safety body?+
Both. It started in 2013 as a group of riders, but it's grown into the recognised voice for motorcyclists in Fiji — working directly with the LTA on rider recognition and the Road Code, while still running sector rides and social events.
Do I need a full motorcycle licence to join?+
Yes — a valid Fiji motorcycle licence matching your bike's class is expected, the same as it is for any road user in Fiji.
How is the FMA organised?+
Around Central Sector (Suva) and Western Sector (Lautoka/Nadi), under a national president and executive. Sectors run their own rides and events under the FMA banner.
Can I attend the Movember Bike Show without being a member?+
Yes — it's a public awareness event held with the Fiji Cancer Society and the LTA. Non-members are welcome; it's also a common way people end up joining a sector.
How do I raise a road-safety concern involving a motorcyclist?+
The FMA executive has taken up specific incidents publicly with the Police and LTA in the past. Get in touch through the form below or the association's Facebook and Instagram pages.
